Common Questions

Are there weekly fees to pay?
Yes. A fee is charged on a per dwelling basis and covers your share of all costs, expenses and other out-goings that are reasonably incurred by the Manager in operating the facility.

What happens if I decide to relinquish?
Entitlement to the apartment is by way of a ‘Licence to Occupy’, following the payment of a capital sum. If you choose, for any reason, to relinquish your apartment, the process is fully detailed in the ‘Licence to Occupy’ document.

Do I have to follow a set routine for meals and other activities?
Your apartment is your home to do as you want. We don’t impose any restrictions on how you live your life, rather we provide assistance where needed, and opportunities to live that life to the full. Our restaurant has normal hours, but it is your choice as to whether to use it.

Can family and friends stay?
Of course… it is your home. Visitors are welcome and can stay for a time as you would normally expect.

Am I able to continue living in the apartment as I get older and require extra assistance?
Because we operate a hospital on-site, we have available a comprehensive range of support staff and equipment which may be utilised to extend your ability to live an independent life for as long as is possible.
