The professional management of the Howick Baptist Home, Hospital and Home Support Services, has led Howick Baptist Healthcare to be regarded by health professionals as a model of excellence in quality care for the older person. Both our Hospital and Rest Home are accredited by Quality Health New Zealand.

At the heart of our success is our commitment to the founding philosophy of Howick Baptist Healthcare to provide the highest standards of nursing care with Christian compassion and love. To achieve this we employ well qualified and dedicated staff who combine highly skilled nursing professionalism with personal care, respect and love for our residents. The first class care from our long serving nursing staff, along with a genuine friendliness and informality, is greatly appreciated by our residents. Chris has many years experience at Howick Baptist Health Care. She leads a team of Registered Nurses and Caregivers dedicated to providing a high standard of care. Under Chris' leadership, the hospital is recognized as a model of excellence and preferred provider in our community.

Suzanne has managed the Rest Home for a number of years. She and her team focus on caring for residents with dignity and respect within a homely environment. Suzanne is committed to ensuring that residents' needs are met in a professional manner by experienced Registered Nurses and Caregivers.

Jennifer manages the Home Support services. She leads a team of experienced Registered Nurse Case Managers who provide a personalised service to our clients, supported by our wonderful teams of caregivers. Jennifer led the services through the certification process against the Home and Community Support Sector Standards.

Jenny is a qualified Social Worker with many years of experience at Counties Manukau District Health Board. She is available to discuss residential care and can advise on a range of options to help you plan for the future.

Ross is responsible for day to day maintenance. He manages the household and laundry services to a high standard and his wider responsibilities ensure the smooth running of the facility.
