Support HBH Group
Every donation, big or small, makes a meaningful difference, helping us fulfil our mission to enable older people to age well and live fully, regardless of their circumstances.
As a charitable, not-for-profit organisation, HBH Group is passionate about delivering high-quality care and support to older adults, helping them age well and live fully. Our commitment to providing compassionate, personalised care extends to every aspect of our services, from rest homes and hospital care to community programmes like the Day Programme and Virtual Village East.
However, like many in the aged care sector, we face funding constraints that affect our ability to meet the growing needs of our community. Your generosity ensures that vulnerable seniors continue to receive the care and companionship they deserve.
How you can help.
There are many ways to support HBH Group:
Donate: Make a one-time or recurring donation to directly impact our services and programs
Fundraise: Host a fundraising event or campaign in your community to support HBH Senior Living.
Volunteer: Offer your time and skills to support our activities and enhance the lives of our residents.
Bequests: Leave a legacy of care by including HBH Group in your will.
‘Gifts that Care’ Campaign
The holiday season is all about showing kindness and spreading joy, and our Gifts That Care campaign did just that. With the generous support of our community, we delivered presents to residents at Stevenson Village and those in our care who don’t have loved ones nearby or are receiving palliative care.
These weren’t just gifts, they were a way to remind our residents that they are valued and cared for.
We want to thank everyone who contributed to this campaign. The Gifts That Care campaign showed how a little generosity can go a long way and we couldn’t have done it without you.
Stay tuned for more ways to give back and support our community throughout the year.
Why we need your support?
While we remain committed to delivering exceptional care, government funding does not fully cover the costs required to deliver our comprehensive services. This shortfall means that the generosity of our donors and supporters is essential to sustain and enhance our work.
Your contributions empower us to do more than maintain the status quo. They enable us to upgrade our facilities, introduce innovative programmes, invest in staff development, and extend our reach to more seniors in need. Every donation plays a crucial role in creating a better quality of life for those we serve.

Relatively Speaking
Relatively Speaking launched in 2023 as part of HBH Senior Living’s commitment to advocacy. We believe every senior deserves the support and resources to live a fulfilling life. This monthly series offers families and the broader community practical advice and insights on ageing and elder care.
What Is Relatively Speaking?
Relatively Speaking brings together experts, families, caregivers and community members to discuss topics that enhance the wellbeing of seniors. Although it is designed with the families of our residents in mind, anyone who cares for or supports an older loved one is welcome. We encourage our staff to join when relevant, ensuring an inclusive, supportive environment for all.
Each session concludes with refreshments, offering a relaxed opportunity to connect, share experiences, and build new friendships that enrich the community.
Topics We’ve Covered
- Brain Health: Understanding the ageing brain and strategies to stay mentally active.
- Grief and Loss: Practical guidance for navigating the challenges of bereavement.
- Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT): Techniques to manage stress and anxiety in everyday life.
- NASC Assessments: An easy-to-understand look at the Needs Assessment Service Coordination process and accessing available support.
Our speakers combine expertise with empathy, making each session both approachable and relevant to the real-world needs of families and caregivers.
Why Relatively Speaking Matters
This series does more than share information—it builds connections. Families leave each session feeling better equipped to care for their loved ones, more confident about available resources, and supported by a network of others who understand their challenges.
If you’re seeking practical advice, a friendly space to connect, or simply more insight into ageing and care, join us at Relatively Speaking.
