As a Christian-based organisation, HBH Senior Living offers a full continuum of care for older people in our community. As well as our rest home, hospital and independent apartments at 139 Union Road in Howick, we also provide affordable social housing at nearby Stevenson Village and manage the day-to-day operations at Gracedale in Mt Roskill.

Living at HBH
At HBH in Howick, we specialise in high-level care for older people, offering a range of living options from independent apartment living to rest home and hospital to respite care and day programmes. Yet it’s the little things we do that make all the difference: the many little ways we ensure our residents enjoy happier, more fulfilled lives.
Living at Stevenson Village
In 2017, HBH Senior Living purchased Stevenson Village, a 36-unit retirement village in Howick providing affordable, social housing for older people. Residents now have access to many of HBH’s activities and services (including our popular day programme), helping them to remain as independent as possible – and to live life to the full.
Living at Gracedale
Since 2017, HBH Senior Living has also managed Gracedale, a small but popular rest hospital and rest home in Mt Roskill. Gracedale is specially designed to encourage social interaction amongst residents and offers a wide range of activities and outings. Like HBH, Gracedale is faith-based and offers a similar care philosophy of offering excellent and compassionate care.
Living at Gulf Views
In 2020, HBH Senior Living purchased Gulf Views, a boutique 45-room rest home in Howick. With a small, close-knit community and friendly, long-serving staff, Gulf Views provides secure, responsive and excellent rest home care. It also offers stunning views of the Hauraki Gulf, close proximity to shops and amenities, a lovely garden and well-appointed facilities.
