Supporting Seniors to age well, live fully.

since 1977

Our Mission

Guided by purpose, not profit, we aim to create opportunities for all older people to age well and live fully, through homes, care, community and advocacy.

HBH Group is a faith-based, charitable organisation.

Homes for older people

We are committed to ensuring more seniors have a safe, healthy, and age-friendly place to live, wherever they call home.

At HBH Howick Views, we provide rest home and hospital care, along with independent apartments. HBH Gulf Views offers high-quality rest home care in a welcoming setting, while Stevenson Village provides affordable rental housing for seniors with limited means.

We also share our expertise with other care facilities, including Gracedale in Mount Roskill, through managed service agreements.

As a not-for-profit, we offer both premium and standard rooms, ensuring quality care remains accessible to all.

Better Care for Seniors

We aim to provide all older people with access to high quality, aged care across the communities we serve, no matter what their circumstances.

Our approach is guided by the Seven Domains of Wellbeing, ensuring residents feel valued, connected, and supported.

HBH Howick Views is an Eden Alternative-registered facility, with our other care homes working towards this resident-centred approach.

We also provide respite care and  palliative care, ensuring comfort and dignity for residents and their families.

Connected
Communites

As a purpose-driven organisation, we help older people stay engaged and connected.

Virtual Village East offers free events and activities, both online and in person, creating a friendship and support network for seniors. Through Virtual Village NZ, we aim to expand this concept across Aotearoa New Zealand.

Our Day Programme at HBH Howick Views provides companionship and mental stimulation for local seniors living at home.

Advocacy

We advocate for a future where every senior has the resources and support needed to lead fulfilling lives as they age.

Our Vision

To ensure people have the knowledge, care and support they require to enjoy fuller lives, regardless of their circumstances.

We are motivated by the compassion, love and justice demonstrated by Jesus Christ.
