Join us and learn how to support your loved ones

HBH residents, families and caregivers are warmly invited to attend our informative Relatively Speaking seminars.

This monthly series offers a wide range of practical advice, fresh insights and real conversations about caring for seniors. It brings together experts, whānau, caregivers and community members to learn from each other and strengthen wellbeing. HBH staff are also encouraged to attend when relevant, helping build an inclusive, caring environment for all.

Each session ends with light refreshments – a chance to meet other residents and families, share experiences and connect with others walking a similar path.

A Relatively Speaking session featuring a personal talk based on lived experience. Our guest speaker shares her experience of navigating cancer and reflects on finding moments of joy, accepting support, and acknowledging progress during challenging times.
