A Connected Community
At HBH, our apartments are all about comfort, connection and a true sense of belonging. With only 42 units, Howick Views Apartments is small enough for residents to know each other and stay involved. Whether it is a friendly chat, a shared meal or a group activity, there are plenty of ways to remain connected.
Regular activities include:
- Daily Coffee Group to start the day right
- Monthly Birthday Celebrations
- Fun quizzes, choir sessions and happy hour socials
- Exercise classes, craft groups and movie time
For those seeking spiritual support, chaplaincy services and church services are available next door at Howick Views Rest Home and Hospital.
A monthly mini-bus service also takes residents on outings to local attractions and shopping areas.
Support Services That Fit Your Needs
For residents who require extra help, we offer flexible support services at an additional cost. These services can be tailored to suit individual needs and include:
- Meals and meal packages
- Household services
- Laundry services
- Personal assistance
Residents also enjoy priority access to our rest home and hospital services, subject to availability. If you are eligible for Health NZ funded home support, you can continue to receive services in your apartment or choose additional support from HBH. Emergency assistance is always available along with regular wellbeing check-ins for extra reassurance.
