Gracedale, owned by Gracedale Trust and managed by HBH Senior Living, provides rest home and hospital care in a supportive, faith-based environment. As a non-profit organisation, we prioritise dignity, independence, and a meaningful quality of life for every resident. Located at the foot of Mount Roskill, our purpose-built home supports a full range of needs from day to day assistance to complex hospital-level care.

Celebrating 20 Years of Dedicated Care
Gracedale marked its 20th anniversary in 2024, a milestone that reflects two decades of service to the community. HBH Senior Living began managing Gracedale in 2017. Our shared commitment to compassionate, resident-centred care guides everything we do. Our team partners with residents and families to create care plans that support physical, emotional, and spiritual wellbeing.

Gracedale holds a four-year certification from Health New Zealand Te Whatu Ora. Our team follows the Eden Alternative principles through a strong focus on companionship, choice, and meaningful engagement. We work to remove loneliness and support each resident to live with purpose.
Personalised Care in a Warm & Homely Setting
Residents live in private rooms that they can make their own. Shared lounges and peaceful gardens create spaces where people connect, relax, and enjoy daily life. Our team of nurses, care partners, and allied health staff provides care around the clock. We support each resident to stay as independent as possible while receiving the help they need.
A Connected and Engaged Community
Life at Gracedale includes rich social and recreational opportunities. Residents take part in activities such as exercise sessions, arts and crafts, music, and community outings. Our activities team tailors programmes to match interests and abilities, so every resident can take part in ways that feel meaningful.
Spiritual care remains an important part of our community. Regular services and chaplaincy support the diverse faith needs of our residents.
