Many of HBH Senior Living’s staff recently undertook another round of Silver Rainbow Training, the second year that we’ve done this. “We want to ensure that we’re fully aware of the needs of the LGBTQI+ community and happily accept the diversity and differences of the many people we care for,” says Bonnie Robinson, HBH Senior Living CEO.
“Because of past discrimination many LGBTQI+ people are fearful of the health system and of going into care,” she explains. “We want to make sure that anyone who needs care can feel comfortable here, be themselves, and know that we will treat them with respect and dignity.”
