COVID-19 Update: Sale Community is Locked Down effective immediately

5 June, 2022

Dear Families, Friends and Residents

COVID Update: Sale Community is Locked Down effective immediately – Rest Home and Seymour communities remain open for now

Unfortunately a resident in our Sale community tested positive for COVID this morning. We are therefore locking down Sale effective immediately. If you were planning to visit or take a resident out who lives in our Sale community unfortunately you will not be able to do this.

It is likely that Sale community will be locked down for a week. The length of time depends on DHB requirements and whether any other residents test positive over the next few days.

We will let you know as soon as Sale community opens for visiting again.

Inchinnan and Minerva communities remain locked down

The DHB has not cleared us to open Inchinnan and Minerva communities as yet, but there are no new cases in these communities so it is looking likely be will be able to do so soon.

Rest Home and Seymour communities remain open for visiting and outings for now

There are no cases in these communities currently and they remain open for visiting and resident outings.

Please wear your mask at all times when visiting, including in your residents room.

We know from international data that mask wearing is one of the most important preventative measures we can take to stop COVID coming into or spreading in care facilities. Please make sure you wear a mask at all times while visiting, even in the residents room. Thank you.

We are disappointed that so soon after opening up for visiting we have had to lockdown some communities, however, as stated previously, this is living with COVID. Please do be patient if you turn up to visit and find a community locked down. We get this communication out as soon as possible. Please pass these communications to any friends and family who might not be on our data-base but whom you know might visit.  Thank you.
